Questions people ask
Can I use photos taken on my phone?
Yes, including HEIC files from an iPhone. Photos are rotated automatically using the orientation recorded by the camera, so pictures taken in portrait do not end up sideways.
Why is the PDF so large?
A modern phone photo is several megabytes on its own, and a PDF of ten of them is the sum of those. Turn the quality setting down, or run the images through the Image Compressor first, and the document will shrink dramatically with little visible difference.
What is the difference between Fit and Fill?
Fit places the whole image on the page, leaving margins where the shapes do not match. Fill crops the image so it covers the page completely. Match page to image skips the question entirely by making every page exactly the shape of its picture — usually the best choice for scanned documents.
