Bug reports and tool requests are both genuinely welcome — they are the main thing that decides what gets built next.
There is no contact form, deliberately. A form would mean collecting and transmitting your details, which sits awkwardly with a site whose whole premise is not collecting anything.
Reporting a problem with a file
If a tool fails on a particular document, the most useful things to include are:
- Which tool, and what you were trying to do.
- Any message the page showed you, copied exactly.
- Your browser and operating system — for example "Chrome on Windows 11" or "Safari on iPhone".
- Roughly how large the file was, and where it came from (a scanner, a phone camera, exported from Word, and so on).
Please do not attach the file itself unless it contains nothing private. Most problems can be diagnosed from the description, and a file that failed here is often exactly the sort of document that should not be sent by email. If a sample is genuinely needed, we will ask, and only for something you are comfortable sharing.
Requesting a tool
Say what you are trying to accomplish rather than what feature you think is needed — the underlying task is usually more useful to know, and sometimes there is already a way to do it.
